TenBu Productions President/ Artist/ DJ/ Manager/
Austell "DJ ASU" Callwood is a 15 year veteran within the Anime and Japanese pop culture scene in America. Starting his career as part owner of one of America's first anime store, Anime FX, today he is now seen as a pioneer and industry mover and shaker. Today he utilizes his skill as an Artist, DJ, studio owner, consultant to events and contributor to national magazines to help push Asian Pop Culture forward in America. More recently his internationally known entertainment company, TenBu Productions, has been responsible for introducing America to popular Japanese acts such as Unicorn Table, Yunmao Ayakawa, Psychic Lover, and more.
Asu broke onto the Anime scene as an Airbrusher and later as character designer and lead artist for the experimental comic, World of Neb. He has since been utilizing his art skills for his own mangaka: Cove Pirate Mercenary, which spawned a debut Pre-issue and launched Japanese Idol and Otaku USA magazine segment writer, Yunmao Ayakawa’s career in the US. In 2006 he developed an event to showcase Japanese entertainers and pop culture called Akiba Fest that has put on 3 successful shows within a one year period and debuted acts like Unicorn Table and Psychic Lover in the US. In October of 2007 Asu introduced the first Asian pop music radio mix show in America called the "DJ ASU A-POP MIX SHOW". His popular show featured him spinning continuous exclusive mixes of Asian Pop music and Anime soundtracks while introducing new artists and music to the U.S. market and the world. Asu also utilized the show to show case interviews with artists from major Japanese labels and promote upcoming anime and J-pop events. Asu now takes his show to clubs and live stages around the country.
Currently Asu is gearing up to continue "Cove Pirate Mercenary" as an online web comic later this year and continue to develop new ways to establish Japanese entertainers and artist in the U.S. market through his company TenBu Productions.

Back in April 2006, a Mommy Webcomic and a Daddy Webcomic had a round of 'special hugging', which created a lovable little mistake called Dead of Summer. Featuring the eye-popping art of Nick "Ghostfreehood" Borkowicz (2007 Katsucon Iron Artist Co-Winner) and the intense storylines of writer Marty Day (reigning and defending All-Baltimore Hopscotch Champion), the comic has grabbed audiences with it's unique tale of zombies in Baltimore, which has grown into a spralling epic featuring grotesque monsters, cybernetic gangs, and even undead simians. With almost 300 strips in the archive so far, plus the long awaited release of their first collection, 2008 is another huge year for Charm City's favorite sons. When they aren't updating thrice-weekly, Nick and Marty also book a series of art and music shows in the Baltimore area.

Based in Baltimore, MD and formed in late 2004, Entertainment System's love of video games and music combined with a passion for intense live performances and jaw dropping metal/rock guarantees an undeniably unique act.
Entertainment System has shared the stage with acts like Peelander-Z, MC Chris, the Monotonix, Powerglove, The Protomen, Year 200X, This Place is Haunted, and appeared at some of the country's most distinguished video game and anime conventions like Otakon, East Coast Gaming EXPO, Fusion Gaming Con, and Colossal Con. Not satisfied being just another band on a bill, Entertainment System holds yearly East Coast VGM blowout shows 8-Bit (2006), 16-Bit (2007) and this year's smash hit, 32-Bit Genocide.

Chris Impink and Barb Fischer are the creators of the web comic, Fragile Gravity, a strip that features independent comics, conventions, and (in an earlier arc) an invasionary force of penguins. Oh, and an extra-bitter stoat.
Chris Impink does the artwork and web design for the strip; he has been featured in Antarctic Press and did much of the graphic work for The Babylon Project role-playing game. Additionally, his work has been featured at various conventions such as Katsucon, Technicon, and Rising Star. He is also mildly notorious for co-founding Katsucon, though his team of spin doctors has kept that under wraps for many years. Chris uses what precious free time he has to work with the Pixel Corps and currently is preparing to conquer the work of public access television production.
Barb Fischer does the writing for the strip as well as the assembly of tschotchke merchandise; when not plotting out the nuts and bolts of FG's final arc, she takes care of her six-year-old son which gives her just enough time in the day to take one or two breaths before plunging back into the fray. She presently is seeking out another artist to help her with her next project – a full-color extended version of the "Librarian Clash Asuka" series – but she hasn't figured out what the proper bait for an artist trap is yet.
The Geek Comedy Tour is a collective of the funniest stand-up comedians from the Washington DC area. Each one is an experienced comic, having performed at bars, clubs, and colleges all over the East Coast. Telling their normal jokes to normal audiences but all of that was about to change.
There was something amiss. For you see, they were all gigantic dorks, and comedy club crowds don't fully appreciate jokes about comic books, anime, and video games. So, they've decided to let their freak flag fly, form together, and bring their geek jokes to the horde that needs them most. Since their formation two years ago, The Geek Comedy Tour has performed at a variety of venues, from anime conventions, college shows, and even the grand opening of a comic shop!

What started as a childhood dream, a goal, and a single cord in a bedroom have now become something of a paramount possibility for the members of [geist]: who solidified their line-up in 2007, and are out to set the pace for the road ahead.
Being the first Maryland visual kei band, [geist] has come with an ardent understanding that all five members are a part of something special. Drawing influences from X-Japan, Mucc, Dir en grey, and others, [geist] has set out to create music that not only pays homage to the inspiration, but to write a new page for the listener of tomorrow. Their music delivers an emotional roller coaster that both caresses and maims. 2008 will be the canvas for their mark.
